- The version of Joaktree you are using;
- The genealogical program you used to generate your GedCom file;

Creating GedCom File on Mac Operating System

When you create your GedCom file on a Apple computer (Mac OS), please make sure that you transfer your file (using a FTP program) in ASCII mode. See this article (and many others) for further details:

Component doens not work correct

As a test I have installed the component on my local test server and followed the manual.
I processed the gedcom with success and was able to link a tree holder.
I made menu-items for all three joaktree-possibilities.
Problem is that on the front-end (after logged in) only the tree holder is visible. That is, his name is visible. Nothing else (no further information, no photo). The index shows only this person too. I published every person but that does not matter.
Dutch language?

Can't synchronize

Joaktree is a great piece of software!
I am just having problems synchronizing the databse with a new Gedcom fil that I uploaded. I have clicked on the Process Gedcom file and assign family tree but the data still has not updated. What am I doing wrong?

Most important: the detected vulnerability of v1.0 is now solved.
New features include too:
- wide support of GedCom tags (information)
- support of showing notes
- highly configurable - information can be shown based on access level of user
- improved view for person - drilldown possible to grandparents, grandchildren and more details
- notes and sources can be viewed per event

Please, can you help me anybody? When I run "process GedCom" then I see this blue information:
"+Import is finished+ !! no succes with processing person ind00002+Assign family trees is finished+Number of sources processed: 0+Number of repositories processed: 0+"
but no people are in Persons section . Why? Thanks for any help.
