"You have no access to this information"

I keep getting this message when I'm signed in as administrator. I can't figure out what is wrong with the privacy control.
Tree - Person

I do not know the URL for which you get this message.
So I have to guess what may be the problem.

In general the following three statements have to be true in order to have access to the information (and not having the mentioned message shown)
1. The tree you want to look at has to be published and the user access needs to be set;
2. The person you want to look at has to be published;
3. The person needs to be part of the tree.

Since you say that you are signed in as administrator, I assume that the relationship between the tree and person is not correct.

I do not know how you set up your site, but I can suggest the following steps.
(1) make sure you have a published family tree, with the main ancestor chosen as "root person"
(2) Execute the function "Assign tree"
(3) Create a new menu item for your tree or person.

I think this should solve your problem.
Same error

I keep getting the same error too. I have tried all above and followed your instructions very carefully. I tried playing around with all different settings but without good results. Any other suggestions. This is Joomla 1.5.18.
Same error

I forgot to mention that I get the error on the front end. I add a menu item and then I try to access it from the front end and it happens if I am logged in or not. Any menu item for the component gives the same error. Thanks.
